Every Saturday morning there is a parkrun around the Ury Riverside Park. This is a timed 5km run open to anyone.
If the paths are flooded or icy the parkrun may be cancelled for safety reasons, check the parkrun facebook page for information
Litter picking
On the last Saturday of each month there is a litter pick in collaboration with the Inverurie Community Council
The report from the August 2021 litter pick was:- 'Another successful litterpick, this time our group worked along Oldmeldrum Road and picked up 3 sacks of litter. By litter picking along this route, it helps reduce the amount of litter blowing into Ury Riverside Park. Our unusual items included a golf club and 3 pairs of gardening gloves scattered along the verges! Thanks to our team for all their hard work.
